[Prompto moved slowly, too quietly for any human to pick up. He didn't groan or make weird noises like other daemons either. The only the that could give him away were his glowing red eyes. But the man was yanked down by whatever he was standing by, so he was a little preoccupied and couldn't notice Prompto.
This just made Prompto more curious. Whatever had caught the person wasn't like any daemon he'd seen before, so at the very least it wasn't native to these parts. And it couldn't have been any animal either as they had been just about wiped out in the first year. He tilted his head to try and get a better angled view of what it could be, but stopped just on the edge of his lands. He didn't know what kind of daemon it was, so he also didn't know just how powerful it was. Prompto may have turned into a daemon, but he wasn't stupid.
Prompto still couldn't see from a good angle, but the daemon looked humanoid also, hunched over and attached to the person. Gasping breaths caught on the offshore wind, carrying the sounds towards Prompto and he realized the person was dying. Well, of course the person was dying if a daemon was attached to them, but Prompto could now keep up with it. He watched, feeling that pleasure tease his senses. His hands itched to help kill the person, his mouth craved to sink his teeth into the soft skin of the person as well.
But he stayed where he was. This human was the unknown daemon's kill and he still didn't know how powerful or possessive it was.
When it was over, the daemon acted strangely. Very strangely. It scrambled away and... pretty much acted the same way Prompto did all that time ago. But more importantly, Prompto could see the face of the attacker.
He gasped and whatever he thought he would do if he ever saw Noctis again just flew away. He definitely didn't feel any desire to kill him. He should be glad, but he also felt... a little weird. Like... well, almost like he'd had some human left in him afterall, because he started to wonder if they could still be best friends. Because he felt that flare of his long time crush on the prince spark to life again. And okay, maybe it was kind of twisted from what he'd become, but it was there.
Prompto found himself moving closer before he realized it. Past the boarders of his lands, closer to Noctis. Any worries over his own safety eluded him.]
Noct.
[He spoke when he saw Noctis become alert to him, a name he hadn't said in years leaving his lips. His voice wasn't too harsh. Sometimes he'd still hummed or sang to himself, on nights when he was really bored. It was useful during those rare times when hunters came along. He ended up playing with them a bit before killing them. It gave him something refreshing to do.

Now it would hopefully help ease Noctis.]
