Tony moved close to Bucky as he made room for him to work. Despite the extra room he still pressed close, trying to find comfort in their bond. It helped ease his nerves as he popped open and broke the steering wheel panel. They didn't need that, anyways.
"You can't rush genius," he said as he started pulling wires and stripping them of their insulation. There was probably a chance that he'd get electrocuted, but hey, what was life without a little danger? He worked quickly, twisting wires, and connecting them. Eventually after a few tries and a few curse words mumbled, the dash board lit up and the car started up with a low rumble. Maybe it was a little slow for him, but he was tired and his chest hurt. Hopefully Bucky would cut him some slack.
With the car started, he leaned back and let out a breath. Alright, they could move. For a moment he leaned on his bond, careful to avoid any of his injuries. "Let's get the hell out of here?"
