Maybe Tony didn't need to use enough of the medication as he did. But hey, Bucky was just going to burn through it anyways. He pulled the needle out and wiped at it with an alcohol swab.
"There's not many people you let near you." Tony glanced up to his bond as he leaned into the touch at his side. He then leaned forward and pressed his lips to Bucky's in a chase kiss. This was a big deal. In some way, it was a big deal for both of them. Tony probably wouldn't have done this for anybody else. He would have never brushed his pain aside and put someone else like this first. But here he was, injecting his bond with pain killers and getting ready to dig out some bullets.
The kind of things one did when they loved someone.
Not that Tony was in love. The soulbond was just biology. Yeah.
"But I'll make sure to take care of you."
And in order to do that, he was going to need to take a couple of bullets out of his bond. Fun.
